Thanks to Granddaddy, I have a little bit of down time to write on the blog. The boys had been resistant to nap time for a couple of months. That made for a long day, sometimes. The boys are much happier when they have a nap, and I must admit--I am pretty happy when they have a nap. :) So, Granddaddy has been coming over to work his magic and put them down for a nap. For some reason, they nap very well for Granddaddy and John. When I try to put them down, they think it's playtime. It has been the best Christmas gift ever to have them nap for 4 days straight!
I still haven't taken the time to upload pictures from the camera, but I have taken a few pictures with my cell phone. So, I thought I would post those pictures.

The boys are always so cute in the morning. As soon as I open their door, Sam and Will come darting out the door to go down the stairs on their tummys. They zoom down the stairs like lightening! Andrew lingers a little bit to wait for me. Some days he likes to go down the stairs, but most days he likes me to carry him down. I love that!
Once they are down, they race to their milk sippy cups and cereal cup that are in front on the tv. I let them watch tv while I change their diapers and clothes. It's the easiest way to have their attention.
This morning, Sam and Andrew wanted to wear Santa hats, and they looked pretty cute!
I can't seem to find the time to sit down and go through pictures to post on this blog. However, I have posted several pictures on http://clowneytriplets.shutterfly.com. Hopefully, I'll be able to sit down, soon, and pick out a few special pictures to post.
It's so fun to see the boys growing each day! We love all the new things that they do and say. Our favorite is seeing them laugh and have fun! The other night, we must have laughed for a half hour straight before going to bed. They had to be worn out. I know that John and I were!
The boys still refuse to nap for me. They nap when Dada or Granddaddy are around, but they don't want to nap for Mama. I plan to implement some new tricks to get them to start napping for me. I will probably try to baby proof a couple more rooms, in order to separate them. I am hoping this will be the answer!
There are so many little things I should be writing down, but let's see if I can think of some things off the top of my head.
They all still LOVE Bubble Guppies and Elmo. They also love Blues clues.
They love to climb on everything--their crib, the gates...they love to try to climb the Christmas tree. Most of my ornaments have been pulled off by the boys.
Sam has such a good memory. He will see something once and not see it for 2 weeks. Then he will do something that reminds us about that one thing--whether it's a face that I made or something that he sees John do in the yard. It's really cute! They love to sing all kinds of songs!
They are getting great at counting to 10.
They like to sing the alphabet.
Will loves to put carpet in his mouth for some reason. We find carpet in his mouth all the time.
Andrew loves to put his stuffed elephant trunk up to his nose. He likes to put a lot of stuffed animals to his nose right before bed, but particularly the elephant.
Sam is such a climber and jumper, and he is a daredevil. He will jump off of anything. Scary!!!
They love to talk on my bluetooth. They talk to "Leen" quite frequently. Sam has a lot to say.
Outside is their most favorite place to be! They could live outdoors! Lucky for them, it's warm most of the time--even in December!
There are so many other things, but these are the ones that come to mind right now.
Today, John asked me if I had written down that Will loves to eat carpet. It reminded me that I might want to document that for future laughs--although, I don't know how funny Will will think it is. It does make us laugh to see that he always has either carpet or fuzz in his mouth. He also loves it when he finds a strand of hair. I guess there is something about the texture that he likes. That's our little Will. He is such a sweetheart!
Last night, John and I went on a double date with some friends. That is a rare occasion, so it was definitely a highlight for us! We were originally suppose to go see our friend in the Houston Ballet's Nutcracker with another friend, Serena. However, we waited to late and the tickets sold out. So, John and I went out to eat with Charisse and Mason, while their kiddos babysat for our boys. We went to a restaurant at Vintage called Brix. The food was really great! Afterwards, we went to Menche for frozen yogurt. Then, the best part of the night was going to Charisse and Mason's to play Dance Party on their Wii. It was so much fun and quite a workout!!!
Once we got home, John went to check on the boys, and Andrew and Sam had swapped beds. I think it confused them a little through the night, because Andrew fell out of bed, once. Then later, Sam tried to get back in his own bed by pulling at the blanket under Andrew. We got a good laugh out of that.
It's hard to believe the weekend is almost over! Tomorrow will be a busy church day--starting from 9:15 meetings until 4:00.
It's time to download some pictures. Today, I don't have any pictures to post, but I have been wanting to post. The boys are constantly doing adorable things! We love hearing them in the morning through the monitor. They say all the words that they know, which is not a ton. We hear things like, "diaper, mama, dada, Elmo, ABC" and a lot of jabbering.
The boys still run to the stairs to slide down them. Andrew often times waits for me to carry him down. They usually greet me in the morning by saying, "Hi Mama" or "morning." It's the sweetest thing!
They LOVE wearing their shoes. They have been enjoying their new shoes that light up when they jump and walk and run. Anytime I say the words "sock" or "shoe," they expect to go outside. Outside is definitely their favorite place to be!
The boys love going on a personal outing, but we didn't get a chance to do that this weekend. Hopefully, we'll be able to do it next weekend. Will seems to really enjoy the one on one time! I guess they all do.
We have been doing a lot of coloring and drawing with markers. I want to get some washable paints for them, soon. I know they will love painting. They have been enjoying going to the gym daycare.
Most of our days are pretty much the same, but the boys are just getting more and more precious and fun! They are such sweethearts!
The boys had a good time trying to eat some of the candy in their pumpkin. Their favorite part was when we let them get out of the wagon and walk up to the houses. We only did that at 4 houses, but it was definitely their favorite!
I took the boys to the Y this morning, and they did a great job! Usually, I put Sam and Andrew in the stroller, and Will will follow along beside us. Today, he was lagging a little bit behind. I had my eye on him, but a nice man grabbed his hand and helped him along to the door. Will was so cute, and the man was very nice to help.
The boys are getting more and more used to playing at the Y. Will only gets a little upset at the beginning, and then he starts playing. After my workout, they are pretty excited to see me at the door to get them! They usually start whining a little bit until they realize that we are on our way to the car. :)
Today, we went to get some chicken minis from Chick-fil-A. Sam really liked his breakfast! That was a special treat!
Right now, they are doing a little drawing in their chairs, and they seem to be very happy about it!
It's about 10pm, and John just went to do his nightly check on his little guys. Ever since they transitioned to a toddler bed, John has checked on them to make sure that they are all in their beds and that no one has fallen out. Occasionally, we get excited if someone needs a diaper change. It's fun to get to pick them up when they are sleepy. They are extra cuddly and sweet!
Even when they weRe in their cribs, John would go up to make sure the temperature was just right for them. Hopefully one day they will read this and know how much their dad loves them!
I was just looking at Andrew's cheeks in his picture, and it made me think about how I love to watch his cheeks as he is running. The gyrations of his foot steps make his cheeks jiggle. It is so cute! Love all my sweet boys. They do sweet things everyday--they share with each other, they hug and kiss each other. They hug their mama and dada. We love all the sweet things that they do!
It's been a while, since I have posted. We have been pretty busy around here. I went to MS on the 7th-12th, and my mom and I did a lot of cleaning. We worked very hard, but we still have a lot to tackle. It felt good to do as much as we did. I did get to see Nicole, but other than that--we mostly worked. I also got to talk to Aunt Jean (in England), while I was home. It's always so great to talk--it feels like she could be down the street.
Monday, I went to Dallas for a shoe show, and I got back home Tuesday evening. Wednesday, the boys and I went to the gym, and I had church that evening. This morning, Kari from ECI came to work with the boys. The boys didn't seem to take that great a nap today, so I imagine they will be a little grumpy later. We'll probably have to take a field trip outside.
When I got back from MS, our friend, Makana Hansen, came over to take a few family photos. Here are a few of the ones that she has sent me. The boys didn't want to cooperate, so she said that the family pictures didn't really turn out so well. She mentioned trying again another time, but for now--I am happy to have the ones that did turn out pretty well.
It's pretty late, but I just had to make a note of something so cute! Lately the boys have been saying each others' names. It is so cute! Sam is the funniest! He calls out "wiiiihh-oooo" It warms the heart!
Looking forward to going to see my mama tomorrow. I surely will miss my little sweethearts! I appreciate John taking care of them over the next few days. They will have a blast with Dada!!!
Today was the boys' 2 year doctor check up. They had to get five shots, so they weren't too happy at the end of the visit. However, they really enjoyed the first part--when they got to look at the fish tank.
Tomorrow, I have a Hyundai shoot, so the boys will get to spend all day with Granddaddy. Hope they will be extra good for him!

Just wanted to say how much I love my precious little boys! They are the sweetest things in the world! The happiest part of the day is going upstairs to see those 6 little eyes staring back at me! Thank you, Sam, Will, and Andrew for being little angels!
Well...that's a nice way of saying that the boys are in to everything!! Here's a little proof! They had a good time going through the diaper drawers!
They, still, aren't doing a lot of napping these days. :( Ahhh--I miss those days. Now, I put them down and go back up about 10 more times to see what they have gotten into. Today, they pulled out the cord to the monitor and pulled down a shelf into their bed. I am hoping this is just a phase, because I love my down time.
They are playing pretty well right now, so I decided to take a few moments to update the blog. More soon. :)
I had a great birthday on Sunday! I had a lot of church meetings throughout the day, but we were able to celebrate that evening with cheesecake and cupcakes! John and I were also able to go out to eat on Saturday night. We had sushi and frozen yogurt--really yummy!
I really appreciated all the calls, cards, and phone calls!!! That's the best part of a birthday! The iPad was pretty cool, too! Very unexpected!
I can't believe that my little babies aren't in cribs anymore. Believe me, we were not ready for this day on so many levels. Mainly, life was so much easier when they were in their cribs and would go right to sleep. They have been in up in their rooms for the last couple of hours, bouncing off the walls. I am hoping the newness will wear off, and that they will be able to take naps again. Who knows?
John and I are going out for dinner tonight. We are looking forward to it! We'll probably go somewhere in Vintage Park--maybe Shogun?
It seems like I have't been journaling a lot lately, becaues I tend to feel like I have to post a picture with the blog. So, then I end up waiting forever, until I have uploaded pictures. I just realized today, that I don't really have to do that. Though I will say, it is probably more fun to have a picture or two.
Well, here's an adorable picture of Andrew sleeping on the chair for nap time.
It explains the main issues at hand--the boys NOT napping regularly-ha! They have been much more interested in working on their climbing (in and out and in and out of their crib) skills. They are definitely very good climbers, but it takes away from nap time, that is for sure. Yesterday, Will napped on the floor, Andrew in his crib, and Sam never napped. He just kept banging on the walls the entire time. So, today I took Andrew out of the room, because he desperately wanted a nap. When I went back in the room to check on the other two--they were passed out on the floor right next to each other. Will was on his pillow pet, and Sam was curled up to a blanket and bed buddy. We leave a few things out on the floor, just so they will have something comfy. I did take a picture of Sam and Will with the camera, but I'll have to add that later--once I upload it.
Other than that, I have just been busy working on Young Women class presidency binders for an upcoming training brunch for the girls. I figured I had better start early, so I can get it finished. :)
I can't believe the boys are 2 years old! Happy Birthday, Sam, Will, and Andrew! We did most of our celebrating yesterday. The boys jumped at Boucin' Bears with family and neighborhood buddies.
We also celebrated today by going to lunch at Freebirds with Grammy, Granddaddy, Aunt Ruth, Cousin Eve, and Lucia and Robert! It was nice to get out of the house and do something different.
The boys got a special package in the mail from Aunt Missy and Cousin Kenzie! They love their legos and their new outfits! They also loved opening from their cards from Leen and Great Aunt Jean and Great Uncle Alan! How neat to have a card from so far away!

Our trip to MS was exciting, to say the least! We had a great drive up there, and the boys seemed to really like their new entertainment system. They watched a lot of movies!!! Sam didn't take a nap going or coming, but Will and Andrew took little cat naps. We stopped for a bite to eat at Wendys on the way there and Arbys on the way home. They LOVE getting out of the car!
On Friday, I went up to Oxford to do a sound check for singing the Anthem at the game. I met Mrs. Linton on campus, and we went to Newks for lunch. Afterwards, we went to the field for the sound check. It was really fun getting to be on the field. The reverb was worse than I expected, but after singing through the song three times, I got a little more used to it. Afterwards, I went around the square for a while. Then, I met back up with Mrs. Linton. Mr. Linton gave me one of his wooden cars that he hand makes. He makes airplanes, cars, trucks, double decker buses, etc. The pieces are amazing, and I was thrilled to get one of them. He also gave me a necklace holder, which I can't wait to use. He makes furniture, as well, and it's all amazing!
After chatting for a while, we went to Oby's for catfish, hushpuppies, cole slaw, and fries! Mmmm...it was delicious! The food doesn't get any better than Oxford, MS! Mrs. Linton and I could have shared a plate, since we could barely finish half of ours! After dinner, we went back to the Linton's, and sat outside on their beatiful porch. Their house is in the most gorgeous setting with trees all around. It feels like you are camping. I could have stayed out their all night, if it hadn't been for those little mosquitoes--ouch! We came back in, and I got to look through some of Mrs. Linton's Lost Colony albums and programs. It was really neat to see her in some of her costumes.
I did sing the National Anthem in my sleep a few times out of being nervous, but the next morning was very relaxed. Mrs. Linton suggested that I sing it through a couple of times outside to get the feeling of being outside. I did that, and her neighbors applauded. It was pretty funny, because I didn't know that they were listening!! haha! Afterwards, I went inside to eat the breakfast that Mrs. Linton had made. We enjoyed yummy eggs, English muffins, and peaches. Then, we all had a little time to watch Mrs. Linton's retirement video. It was wonderful to see! Wish I could have seen it in person.
Around noon, I headed up to campus to meet up with John and the rest of the Cronin gang--to go to the BYU Alumni picnic. We were able to eat lunch, walk around The Grove for a little bit, and then I went to get changed. I changed in the music building, and the Lintons picked me up at the Ford Center. We were headed to the Stadium but were stopped by the people directing traffic. We ended up getting a police escort to the field, which was pretty cool. We followed the band to the Stadium, and on the way I spotted John--out of 80,000 people. That was pretty coincidental.
Mrs. Linton and I headed down to the field, and before we knew it--I was singing the National Anthem. I had definitely been nervous that I might blank on the lyrics. However, everything was just fine! After it was all over, I realized, "hey, that was pretty fun! Now, can I do it again, since I am not nervous anymore?" It was a great time!!! I really had a lot of fun! Then, we went back to sit with Jennifer and Kirby Orme and the gang. We had a great time visiting with them, but unfortunately, Ole Miss lost! :( John and I enjoyed our drive back to MS. We stopped by Sonic on the way out of town.

PART 2 of the MS Trip---
The second part of our trip was quite eventful, too. My mom has a cluster of 4 trees that sit on the side of the driveway outside of the garage. Those poor little trees all fell down over the course of 24 hours (less than that, even.) One fell down Sunday morning, and the others fell down at 1am and then 4:00am Monday morning. It was pretty lucky that they didnt' fall into the garage and kitchen. We were bracing ourselves for this, but they managed to fall around the house--minus the one. I was glad that we were there, so that my mom did not wake up to this alone. It will be a while before her home is back to normal, but things are in the works. I believe it was a miracle that more damage did not occur.
This morning I went to get the boys, and sure enough--Sam was out of his crib already!!! I knew the day was coming. I thought it was pretty funny that he had distributed books to the rest of the guys, so they each had a book in their crib. I guess John and I will be doing a little bit more baby-proofing tonight, since Sam will become more and more adventurous. I was pretty proud of Little Sam, even though I know means trouble! haha

I forgot to mention that Will loves to pick up little random things on the floor and give it to us. Today it was a tiny piece of cardboard. He will find the smallest piece of fuzz or smallest string from a blanket. It's really cute! He's the only one that does that. :) I love my sweetheart, Will. They are all so precious!

John and I had another typical night, where we talk about all the cute thing that the boys have been doing. He asked me if I had written all these things down, and I told them I hadn't. So, while I am thinking about it, here are some of the latest things that we love!
The boys love to drink chocolate milk as a special treat. The funniest part is that after every sip, Will gets this really excited look on his face and shouts, "YAAAAAAAAYYYY!" It's so fun to see him do it every time. Hopefully I will get it on video, one of these days. Will also loves to shout "Aaaaaaaamen!" after prayers. He has the same excited look on his face, as if he is so proud of himself. It's priceless!
The boys also love to do flips, but they have to have a little help. It's really funny to see them on their heads waiting to be flipped.
They also love to go swimming, and they really like to try to jump off the sides into our arms. They love water, and even the bathtub is fun for them! They love to jump up and make a big splash in the water. I think they could stay in the bath for hours!
In the morning, they go down the stairs on their bellies. Will is like lightening come down the stairs, and Sam is right behind him. They each run to their breakfast that is sitting on the floor in the living room, and Sam always takes his to Andrew who is taking his time down the stairs. It's really sweet to see him thinking of Andrew.
When someone is in Time Out, one of the others likes to take the other one something--a toy or their drink. It's pretty sweet and funny. A couple of times, Sam even went to Time Out with Andrew. It's pretty funny!
I am sure there are many other things, but these are the only ones that I can think of for now.
I look at the boys, and I think about how much my dad would have enjoyed knowing them. We've had a busy day today, so luckily I haven't had too much time to be sad. In fact, right now--Will is wanting my attention. Just wanted to stop and think about my dad for a minute. Sure do miss him.
The boys were lucky enough to get this great easel handed down to them. They had a lot of fun using it today! We really appreciated such a fun hand-me-down! They also were handed down a 3 in 1 sports center that they are going to love! They haven't played with it yet. We are saving it for this weekend! We just need to get a football!
Yesterday, the boys got new shoes for fall. We gave them a test run for fun!

Yesterday, I had YW at church, and we had a water balloon war. I managed to stay pretty dry, so I was pretty happy. They girls had a lot of fun! There's more water fun in store, since we are going to the pool later on today. The boys will be so excited, since it has been a while since we have gone.
This morning, we went on our usual walk to Walgreens and the tennis courts with our neighborhood friends. Then, we did our normal fun things at home. Tonight, we decided to take an adventure to Freebirds to eat. The boys like to do something new and different every now and then. They enjoyed eating their nachos, but mostly--they enjoyed the scenery.
We were planning to go to the park afterwards, but it was too hot! We decided to walk home, instead. We're about to do bath time, which they love. Then, we'll read some books and go night night! John comes home from his Chicago trip tonight, so the boys and I will look forward to seeing him tomorrow.
